Clinical excellence grounded in proven treatment practices.
Recovery is possible—we're here to walk with you.
Desert Mountain Healing IOP was founded by Sean Roberts and Gary Gamboa because they believed addiction treatment could be delivered with greater compassion, integrity, accountability, and hope.
After experiencing recovery firsthand, they recognized that lasting recovery requires more than simply treating addiction. It requires hope, accountability, evidence-based care, and a treatment team that truly sees the person behind the diagnosis.
That belief became the foundation of Desert Mountain Healing IOP.
Whether someone is seeking help for the first time or returning after a relapse, they will be welcomed without judgment and supported every step of the way.
Recovery begins with hope, grows through connection, and succeeds through compassionate care.
Our team helps each client identify the combination of services that best supports their needs and recovery goals.
Structured treatment that includes group counseling, individual support, relapse-prevention education, life-skills development, and recovery planning while clients continue living at home.
DMHIOP offers morning and evening IOP programming Monday through Friday to help clients balance recovery with work and family responsibilities.
When clinically appropriate, medication may be combined with counseling, IOP, case management, and ongoing recovery support for opioid or alcohol use disorders.
Our approach connects medical care with behavioral health treatment so clients receive support for both the physical and emotional parts of recovery.
Nurse Practitioner assessment and outpatient medical support may help clinically appropriate clients manage withdrawal symptoms while beginning counseling and recovery services.
Suitability for outpatient detox assistance is based on an individualized medical and clinical assessment.
Recovery often becomes stronger when clinical care is supported by practical help, healthy connection, and continued skill-building.
